By Air: Chengdu has two airports - Chengdu Tianfu International Airport (TFU) and Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport (CTU), with numerous domestic direct flights to cities such as Hong Kong, Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Xi'an, Guilin, Hangzhou, Kunming, Lhasa, Chongqing, Wuhan, Guiyang, and Xiamen, as well as international direct flights to countries such as Malaysia, Singapore, Australia, and Japan, making transportation very convenient.
2. Train: Chengdu has 4 train stations. You can take the high-speed train to Chengdu from cities such as Beijing (7-11 hours), Xi'an (3-4 hours), Chongqing (1.5-2 hours), Shanghai (12.5-14.5 hours), Kunming (6-6.5 hours), and Guiyang (3.5-4.5 hours).

After breakfast, you will travel approximately 2 hours by car to visit the famous Leshan Giant Buddha, a UNESCO World Cultural and Natural Heritage site. The Leshan Giant Buddha is the world's largest and tallest stone-carved Buddha statue, a marvel of world cultural history, and a renowned Buddhist holy site in China. Carved into the cliff face at the confluence of the Minjiang, Qingyi, and Dadu rivers, its superb carving techniques make it an artistic gem of Tang Dynasty cliff carvings. Its exquisite design has allowed it to stand for over a thousand years, leading to the saying, "The mountain is a Buddha, and the Buddha is a mountain." Carved into the cliff face overlooking the river, the Leshan Giant Buddha is approximately 71 meters high, with shoulders about 28 meters wide, a head about 14.7 meters high, ears about 7 meters long, a nose and eyebrows about 5.6 meters long, a mouth and eyes about 3.3 meters long, and feet about 8.5 meters wide. More than a hundred people can sit around its feet. Looking at it from above, it is truly magnificent and solemn. You can hike around the area, get up close to the Leshan Giant Buddha, and feel its grandeur. You can also visit ancient Buddhist temples such as Lingyun Temple and Jiading Temple to gain a deeper understanding of Leshan's history and Buddhist culture. Alternatively, you can go to the Giant Buddha viewing platform to take pictures of the entire Leshan Giant Buddha and the surrounding charming natural scenery.
Optional activities (at your own expense): The wooden plank road leading to the Leshan Giant Buddha is narrow, steep, and quite winding. If you are not physically fit, or if you want to easily tour the Leshan Giant Buddha, you can take a boat trip to enjoy a panoramic view of the Buddha and see its magnificent figure.
Then, drive about 45 kilometers to Baoguo Temple , the largest Buddhist temple on Mount Emei. Located at the foot of Mount Emei, Baoguo Temple is not only an important symbol of Mount Emei's Buddhist culture, but also an excellent starting point for your Mount Emei tour. Here, you can not only pay homage to the solemn halls and Buddha statues, but also burn incense and pray for blessings. Especially when the sun is shining, you can take beautiful photos with a Zen-like atmosphere by standing under the red walls and ancient trees of the temple.
After the tour, proceed to the hotel for check-in and rest.

After breakfast, you will visit Mount Emei, one of China's four sacred Buddhist mountains. Mount Emei is a renowned World Cultural and Natural Heritage site and a popular tourist destination in China, famous for its majestic, beautiful, unique, precipitous, and secluded scenery. It is known as a "Fairyland of Immortals and Buddhas," a "Kingdom of Plants," an "Animal Paradise," and a "Geological Museum." The combination of sightseeing bus, hiking, and cable car will allow you to easily enjoy Mount Emei's magnificent natural scenery and appreciate its profound Buddhist culture.
Recommended itinerary for today: Visitor Center → Take the sightseeing bus to Leidongping (approximately 1.5-2 hours) → Walk for about 30 minutes to Jieyin Hall → Take the cable car to the Golden Summit (approximately 5 minutes) → Visit the Golden Summit → Return via the same route (This route not only saves you energy but also allows you to fully enjoy the essence of Mount Emei)
Tips for traveling to Mount Emei:
1. There may be monkey troops on the section from Leidongping to Jieyindian . It is recommended not to bring plastic bags or food to avoid them being snatched by the monkeys.
2. The Golden Summit is the highest point of Mount Emei, with an altitude of about 3,077 meters. You can enjoy four wonders: sunrise, sea of clouds, Buddha's light, and sacred lamps. If you are lucky, you can also catch a glimpse of the surging sea of clouds, which is very spectacular. It is best to watch the sunrise after rain or after snow. Early morning is the best time to watch the sunrise and Buddha's light, and the scenery is mysterious and breathtaking.
After the tour, our driver will escort you back to your hotel in Chengdu for check-in and rest.

After breakfast, you will travel approximately 17 kilometers to the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, located in the northern suburbs of Chengdu, to observe China's adorable national treasure, the giant panda, and learn about their living habits and conservation efforts. The Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding (Chengdu Panda Base) houses over 100 giant pandas, making it the world's largest captive panda base. Here, you can see pandas of different ages playing, eating, climbing, and sleeping in the park, experiencing their adorable and interesting daily lives. You can also join a guided tour of the Panda Museum to learn more about pandas. Furthermore, if you visit in autumn, you may have the opportunity to see incredibly cute panda cubs in the Moon Nursery and Sun Nursery . The famous Chinese panda star, Hua Hua, lives here; she is renowned for her adorable appearance and unique personality, earning her the nickname "top female celebrity." ( Note: Giant pandas prefer cooler weather and are more active in the morning, so it is recommended that you arrive early to observe their more natural behavior.)
Next, visit People's Park , known as one of "Chengdu's most beautiful parks," to experience the leisurely Chengdu culture and the slow pace of life of the locals. Here, you can enjoy a cup of fragrant covered-bowl tea in a century-old teahouse, chatting leisurely with friends on bamboo chairs. You can also experience the intangible cultural heritage of ear cleaning, enjoying the tingling sensation that goes straight to your head, or watch exciting local mahjong games and stroll through the famous matchmaking corner.
Afterwards, you can leisurely stroll through Kuanzhai Alley , hailed as one of the "Top Ten Most Beautiful Streets in Sichuan," experiencing Chengdu's relaxed lifestyle, enjoying a captivating Sichuan opera face-changing performance, taking memorable photos, admiring the exquisite and distinctive architecture, and savoring authentic Chengdu cuisine.
